Booking Info
- For Riverside Dining Pod bookings please choose private dining pod option when making your booking.
- For an outdoor table please choose outdoor covered option.
- The Riverside Pods seat a maximum of 4 people with only one XL pod available for up to 7 guests.
- When bringing a dog please specify in the notes section of your booking.
- Please specify any dietary requirements in the notes section.

- Please give at least 24 hours' notice. You can modify online up to 48 hours before; inside that, call the restaurant.

Yes — The Bank at Bude is a popular spot for date nights thanks to its cosy, slightly quirky atmosphere, riverside setting on the River Neet and private dining pods. Book a small pod for extra privacy and the view.
What are the portion sizes like?
Portions are generous for tapas. A good rule of thumb is to order around two to three plates per person and adjust after the first round once you have settled in.
Are you dog-friendly?
Yes — strongly dog-friendly. Well-behaved dogs are welcome in our bar and outdoor dining areas, and the riverside pods are especially popular with dog owners. We offer Sir Woofchester’s dog treats alongside Scoops dog ice cream to keep them happy too.
What is the dress code?
Casual. From sandy beachwear during the day to relaxed clothing in the evening — we are a welcoming tapas bar, not formal fine dining.
Do you have private dining?
Yes — our four cosy riverside pods seat up to four guests each and our XL pod takes groups of up to seven. For larger private parties our main restaurant can also be hired exclusively; call us to discuss.
Do you cater to dietary requirements?
Absolutely. We offer an excellent choice of gluten-free dishes, vegan and vegetarian options, and the team is trained in handling allergies and coeliac needs carefully. Please let us know when you book.
How do I book the riverside dining pods?
Choose "Private dining pod" when making your booking through OpenTable. The four cosy pods seat up to four guests; the XL pod welcomes up to seven. For groups of six or more, please call us on 01288 352070.
How big can a group be?
Smaller groups can book directly via OpenTable. For larger groups, please call us on 01288 352070 so we can arrange the right space.
